Some of Cadenza's (the piano) teeth were missing after returning to human form because he shot his keys at the castle's attackers.

Another fun fact: you never actually see Ewan McGregor speak after he's turned back into a human (though he does speak), because his mouth movements would highlight how awful his French accent is.
