Yeah man. I do this with kids who have cell phones, too. They have these nice ass phones and I'm like, fuck y'all I couldn't text anyone because it was $0.25 a text and the phone was an old used Nokia that was only for emergencies. Even though I have a nice phone now too, it rankles me.
When I was a kid I saved my money from doing chores/ selling lemonade, and birthday cards for like two years so I could buy a power wheel. When the big day came, I pulled out the power wheel at toys-r-us to inspect my new purchase. I was now too big for it. My dreams were crushed and I had to just give up right then and there knowing my time had passed. Never forget
