Customer: Why do you keep recutting the last slice of turkey and putting it back on the scale?

ShineSonic77: Don’t worry. This will be epic.

I work in a deli as well. It's probably about 1/50 orders that I get exactly right down to the gram, and maybe 1/100 that I get perfectly first try. A few months ago I was helping a customer, they ordered some amount of honey ham and I get it bang on first try, cool. Then they ask for 500g of bacon, and I hit that perfectly first try as well (it's even more rare to get bacon first try because of the larger increments with each slice), so now I'm really defying odds. And then they ordered 400g of chicken wings, and I swear to you I hit that one first try as well. I get the exact amount ordered for 3 different items by the same person. I can usually hit within 40g just based on what it feels like in my hand, but this is just unheard of. I really wish I had some record of that, it was an incredible day.
