The before picture is really her. Nobody fulfilled her request, and someone said it was powerful enough:
Hi OP. I think that it’s wrong to lie about what you looked like in the “before” photo. It’s more powerful to show people that suffering from heroin addiction doesn’t always look crazy or like a skinny homeless person. Sometimes they look like the average person just having a bad day.
Just do the after photo of you, looking happier, with better lighting and neater eye makeup. The “after” message is about how you look healthier and happier :) just be you. Your journey is real and doesn’t need editing. Keep it up ❤️
The before picture looks like she just woke up from a night out. Eyebrows still filled in, bits of eyeliner on her lids, hair a mess. That’s how I look every morning if I don’t take my makeup off before going to bed.
