It's kinda like this guy I used to be friends with, he was your run of the mill bearded, Nintendo fanboy "nerd" type in his mid 20s. He would then go on to meet this woman at PAX who would eventually become his wife.
Now I'm sure all of his loser and neckbeard friends go to conventions hoping to meet their future waifus, but when reality kicks in they'll point to this guy saying "b-b-but it can happen to me!" But what they don't realize is that you need be charming or have a generally attractive personality.
