Eyeballing, the six-year age range during which women were most likely to get married in 1980 was ages 18-23. In 2015 it's ages 25-30. That's a pretty major shift. 1980 wasn't that long ago.

Among 22 year olds, in 1980 the odds of your being married were 50/50. In 2015 it’s less than 10% chance.
