For our 5 year wedding anniversary I surprised my wife with an original painting by artist Bridget Duffy who did the murals featured on Parks and Recreation. Bridget really brought the painting to life and was a blast to work with via email. Through reference photos and a description of family lore and inside jokes, she really captured our lives in a small midwestern town. My wife was surprised and thrilled with the painting but now I've really set myself for trying to top it in the future.
