Reminds me of my little niece during house renovations, the workers were tearing down the floorboards in her room and she was so alarmed, pointing at them like "you see that? I sleep here! How can I sleep here with no floor!" (she can't speak much yet, but that's definitely what she meant). She only reluctantly calmed down when we told her she'd get a new, nicer floor.
