Second Man Accuses Kevin Spacey of Sexual Assault: He ‘Grabbed My Whole Package’

More men have come forward with disturbing allegations of sexual assault, harassment and predatory behavior against Kevin Spacey, with one actor who worked with the Hollywood star at the Old Vic theater in London, of which Spacey was creative director for over a decade, saying Spacey ‘routinely preyed’ on young male actors there.

Another man has said he was left “uncomfortable at best, traumatized at worst" after waking up with Spacey lying on him and his arms wrapped around him. The man, who was a budding actor aged 17 at the time, told the BBC that it became clear Spacey was interested in "a way I wasn't".

The man, who did not give his name, says he was a teenager when the incident took place in 1985. He had been invited to stay at Spacey’s New York home and the actor asked him to share his bed. He declined and slept on the sofa, but woke up to find Spacey’s head on his stomach and his arms wrapped around him.

A third man, U.S. filmmaker Tony Montana, told Radar Online he suffered from PTSD for six months after Spacey allegedly grabbed his crotch in a Los Angeles bar in 2003.

He alleges that a drunk Spacey grabbed his groin at Los Angeles bar the Coronet in 2003.

Speaking to Radar, Montana, who was in his thirties at the time, claims: “I went up to order a drink and Kevin came up to me and put his arm around me. He was telling me to come with him, to leave the bar. He put his hand on my crotch forcefully and grabbed my whole package.”

Montana claimed a seemingly intoxicated Spacey, 58, then said to him, “This designates ownership.”

Montana said, “I put my hand down and turned his thumb back to get his hand off it. I paid for my drink and got away from him.”

The allegations all follow revelations by actor Anthony Rapp, who accused Spacey of making a sexual advance towards him when he was 14.

Spacey claimed he didn’t remember the incident, but apologized anyway. However he was widely condemned after he appeared to conflate his alleged advances on the boy with being gay, as he chose to come out in the same statement.

Cavazos said in a Facebook post that his direct experiences with Spacey at the Old Vic were on the edge of harassment. “Had I been a woman, I probably would not have hesitated to identify it as such, but I suppose that the lack of a more specifically direct or aggressive action led me to justify the incident as ‘one of those things’,” he said.

Cavazos recalled a “couple of unpleasant encounters” with Spacey including being squeezed by him in the Old Vic bar.

He recalled being told a similar story by many people of how Spacey invited young male actors to the Old Vic to “talk about their careers”. Cavazos continued: “When they arrived at the theater, the gentleman had prepared a picnic with champagne on the stage, beautifully lit.”

More common was that Spacey was in the bar, “squeezing whoever caught his attention”, Cavazos alleges.

Spacey has not commented on the allegations, which emerged as the Old Vic theater in London that Spacey ran for more than a decade, to critical acclaim, urged anyone who with a complaint of inappropriate behavior to contact them.

The appeal was made less than 24 hours after the theater issued an initial statement saying that no one had come forward to say they had been sexually harassed by the actor.

The Old Vic announced that it had appointed “special advisers” to handle confidential calls from anyone who wishes to raise concerns about their treatment while employed or connected to the theater.

A theater spokeswoman said they were “deeply dismayed” over historical harassment allegations made against Spacey, its former artistic director.

“The Old Vic would like to respond to recent media reports by making it clear that we are deeply dismayed to hear the allegations levied against Kevin Spacey, who was artistic director from 2004-2015.

“Inappropriate behavior by anyone working at The Old Vic is completely unacceptable. We aim to foster a safe and supportive environment without prejudice, harassment or bullying of any sort, at any level, as set out in our joint statement with the theater industry on 23 October. We want our employees to feel confident, valued and proud to be part of The Old Vic family. Any behavior we become aware of which contravenes these goals will not be tolerated.”

A British barman, Daniel Beal, has meanwhile claimed Spacey exposed himself to him and then gave him a £5,000 watch to keep him quiet.

Beal told the Sun that the incident happened when he was 19 and having a cigarette break. He alleges Spacey sat next to him on a bench and flashed at him saying: “It’s big isn’t it.”

The barman returned to work followed by Spacey, who insisted he take his watch. “I thought he was joking but he took off his watch and gave it to me. Looking back I realize it was to keep me quiet.”

Beal said he sold the watch for £3,200 the next day.
