I was visiting a friend near Berchtesgaden and it turns out her family owned this guest house/restaurant in the Bavarian Alps for hikers. The food was amazing and the view was even better. It's called Berggasthof Gerstreit.
This was my lunch. It's deer venison with a giant knodeln.
