It always kind of bothered me how Nurse Joy quips "We hope to see you again" after healing hurt/fainted pokemon.
Like, you should be horrified. You shouldn't want to see me ever again.
[PLAYER]! This is the 12th time today you've brought your team to us. Maybe you should pick up a hobby you're better at? You're torturing this poor Pidgey. Buy an Antidote or 2, you monster.
e: To the people saying she's worried about the player's safety: pls stop. The game has no way of conveying damage to the player. The Pokecenters only heal pokemon. When's the last time your character jumped up on that table and curled up in a ball while Joy hit the ding-ding-ding-a-ling button? Never? Cool.
Even when you lose a battle, you black/white out for a second (is that it?) before picking up your pokemon and running to the nearest Pokecenter.

HG/SS was my favourite by far... it added so much to the game having whoever was first in your team follow you about.
