The brother of Stephen Paddock has been arrested on child pornography charges, reports TMZ.
The website says Bruce Paddock was taken into custody on Wednesday morning in North Hollywood at an assisted living home.

According to the report, police were tipped that there was child porn on his computer and obtained a search warrant. The investigation began months before his brother Stephen killed 58 people and injured over 500 others on 1 October.
TMZ says before the shooting, police were unable to locate Bruce, and were notified he lived at an assisted living facility after the tragedy. Bruce is not the same brother who has made TV rounds, that man was Eric Paddock.

The investigation of Paddock was initiated after evidence was discovered inside a business located in the 9000 block of San Fernando Road in Sun Valley, according to a Los Angeles Police Department news release. Paddock had been squatting inside the business, and after his eviction, the evidence was discovered.
At the time of the initial investigation, Paddock was a transient and could not be located. Paddock was recently found on the 5300 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard in North Hollywood.
The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office filed one count of California Penal Code Section 311.11(c) (1), possession of over 600 images of child pornography, and 19 counts of California Penal Code Section 311.3(A), sexual exploitation of a child.
Paddock was booked and is being held at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Metropolitan Detention Center. Paddock’s bail is set at $60,000.

For those that didn't read the article: This is not the brother that was interviewed on TV. This brother was off the radar and living in assisted living, there was an open investigation after a tip and the police were just not aware of his whereabouts.
