My neighbor's son is very polite and neighborly. One time he rang my doorbell to let me know that the trunk of my car was open. He's done many other good deeds.
One time I saw his Mom in her front yard so I just had to go over an say, "I need to talk to you about your son."
Then, as I ticked off all the good things he'd done, her expression went from concerned to grinning.
It made my day to let her know she's done a good job raising a good boy.
