I'm not finding a ton about it online, honestly. That's probably why it's not being talked about--some countries do a pretty good job covering stuff up.
This makes me so sad. I can't imagine how hard it must be for friends and family to even recover from knowing a loved one died this way. It would drive me crazy.

When you live in a country with legal gay marriage and so on, it's too easy to forget that gay rights are nonexistent in a lot of countries.
