When my sunrise alarm went off I heard rain coming down on my tent and I almost went back to sleep but I decided to peak outside anyway and I witnessed the best sunrise I've ever seen. (Tombstone Territorial Park, YT, CA) [2500x1406][OC]
This happened on the 3rd day of my backpacking trip at Tombstone Territorial Park in Yukon Territory, Canada. I was camping at a lake called Talus Lake, and I had set my alarm for 6am in hopes of watching and capturing the sunrise, but when I woke up, I could heard rain coming down on my tent and I was gonna just go back to sleep because colorful clouds and nice sunrises don't usually happen when its overcast and rainy, but for some reason I decided to take a peek outside and I was surprised to see the entire eastern sky glowing orange, and this crazy glow and a rainbow on Tombstone Mountain (The pointy mountain pictured) in the west. All this only lasted for about 10 minutes and then it just went back to a boring grey rainy day. If you're interested in seeing more of my work, have a look at my Instagram: @art_only
