There’s an artist who makes stuff like this; people with wired headsets on which cover their eyes. The artist also paints giant robots. This image fits right in.
Initially I thought of Jakub Różalski, but Jakub’s universe is set during the Polish-Soviet War what seems like a mix of steampunk and World War II set in Eastern-Europe.

Simon Stålenhag is the artist I was thinking of.
