UFC President Dana White is known for being unfiltered, but his latest take on for UFC light heavyweight Jon Jones is perhaps one of his most startling yet.

Speaking to Aaron Bronsteter on The TSN MMA Show this week, White didn’t hold his emotions when it came to speaking about Jones and what could have been had he stayed clear of trouble.

“Ever…. ever, in all of sports,” White said when asked if Jones was the biggest waste of talent he knew.

“The guys is so talented and gifted, who knows what he would be doing now if he hadn’t ever got in trouble.

“He could possibly be the heavyweight champion and have the defence record that couldn’t be broken.”

“The list goes on and on of what could’ve been with Jon Jones.”

Bronsteter then asked what White was expecting in terms of Jones’ suspension and whether he was hoping that he could somehow be a short sentence.

Once again, White didn’t hold back giving his honest feelings.

Forget about his potential 2-4 year suspension, just imagine where he could be today if he hadn't screwed up in the last couple of years. Think of all the incredible match ups at HW we could have witnessed. As a fan that's the most painful thing to think about.
