He hasn't even noticed the existence of California.

Funny thing is Houston is the most diverse city in the country. Central and South Florida are also one of the more gay friendly places in the country as well. Louisiana not so much though. If he didn't say such racially charged things about PR and just in general, it would be easier to just look at this as more general Shock Doctrine in effect.

But Trump just can't follow a normal playbook and has to add the little spices to make it more obvious.

Shout out to my grandfather! He's a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He's in his late 80s. And he's living without any power on an effing tropical island while the POTUS minimizes his plight. And my grandparents got off relatively easy.

There are people in rural parts of the island who are completely cut off from everything else. There are people forced to drink fetid water full of dead animals and human waste. People are dying. Not that it should matter, but they're American citizens. And for some reason Marc Anthony and Daddy Yankee can get these people real aid, but the Federal Government can't. My uncle's daughter and her three kids in Mayaguez got some snack packs and four bottles of water from FEMA to feed them for a day.

I know this word triggers some people, but this is just racism. The POTUS would never imply that people in Louisiana and Texas don't want to work. He would never attack their local leadership full stop. These are all American citizens suffering in Puerto Rico, but they look different and speak a different language. Trump's people could care less.

Also, here's this.
