What difference does who invented their suits and items make? I always thought it was best when someone said Iron Man without his suit was a billionaire, playboy, philanthropist. Batman without his suit is a billionaire, playboy, NINJA
With their tech? Who knows. Batman defeated Superman with his brain power and tech. Tony also defeated hulk with his brain power and tech.
Hand to hand? Wayne would kill Stark. Stark however would probably, with his last breath, make fun of Bruce so bad that Bruce would be pissed off for the rest of his life.
