President Trump claimed in a tweet Sunday that "nobody could have done" the work he did for Puerto Rico "with so little appreciation."

"Nobody could have done what I've done for #PuertoRico with so little appreciation. So much work!" Trump tweeted.

Trump also shared in the tweet a video featuring hurricane recovery efforts by the U.S. military and the Federal Emergency Management Agency in Puerto Rico.

"What the fake news media will not show you in Puerto Rico...." the first image of the video reads.

The video ends with images and clips of Trump on his trip to Puerto Rico on Tuesday, which was largely covered by the media.

Trump made headlines throughout his trip to Puerto Rico.

He received a briefing from local officials on hurricane recovery efforts, but noticeably left out San Juan mayor Carmen Yul n Cruz when praising leaders by name. Cruz had criticized the Trump administration's response to the storm.

Trump also distributed supplies to hurricane victims, including tossing paper towels into a crowd at a Puerto Rican church.

He has definitely moved the bar on what a President can be, how he can act, on respect for the dignity of the office.
