"Johnny Cash shaking hands with Glen Sherley during Cash’s performance at Folsom Prison, 1968 (photo by Jim Marshall)." According to Google he was in for armed robbery at the time and wrote songs when he got out until he committed suicide in 1978.

The song "Greystone Chapel" on the album "At Folsom Prison" (Johnny cash) is written by Glen Sherley. I imagine this photograph was taken after that song was performed by Johnny.
