I wanted a nice window treatment, so I built a set of plantation shutters. I now understand why these are so expensive. They are very tedious to build. This was basically the last step. It took me about 18 months to complete the entire bathroom. It was a labor of love, but I am very glad it's finished. It's nice not to have it hanging over my head.

It's amazing how something as butt ugly as the first picture was probably viewed as pretty sweet when it was brand new. I wonder how long it will take before the new bathroom is regarded as equally retro and lame. I think it looks great, good job OP!
