There's very little chance this was an accident. You wouldn't use that phrasing for an acronym that sounded like an object, like, "TREE all over your school." You'd have to think it sounded like a verb. And if you know nut is a verb... you aren't doing this by accident.
There's like 100% chance some little meff kid made this and taped it to the display.
Edit as requested! Meff is a lighthearted term for an idiot/someone acting stupid. I am from Liverpool, UK and clearly don't get out much as I didn't realise it was local slang.
