I'm so happy I was born a human because there would be no way that I'd look that graceful if I had ice hanging off my patchy body hair running around in nature.
Done some pretty long hiking trips all across Grizzly country USA. Always have my bear spray with me, but out of all the encounters I've had the only ome where i got terrified was in glacier national park. Had just woken up, cousin (hiking buddy) and i had gone down to the lake near our campsite to pump water. See movement and look to my right, and theres 50 feet away from me a pretty sizable grizzly cub frolicking in the water. All of a sudden the sound like a, well, half ton animal crashing through the trees at breakneck speed. Mama comes bursting through the bush about 20 feet inbetween us, snarling and growling. I was close enough to see the spittle fly from its mouth. No idea why it didn't charge but we wouldn't have been able to stop it, no bear cans or anything. They're beautiful animals but a female grizzly is shit your pants powerful and gigantic.

Holy shit...just imagine that hungry, freezing bear running after you. Hopefully after I shit myself, she would lose interest.
