She was the last puppy at the shelter. Most didn't want her because of her timid disposition/ overbite, but I think it makes her that much more of a treasure.
I rescued my pup from a shelter. As all the other puppies ran over to see me, she just sat in the back, timid, afraid and very un-puppylike. Adopted her that night knowing she may not make it with someone else. She rescued me when I was severely depressed. Greatest thing I've ever done was take a chance on a scared and timid puppy.
