This is not even a fair comparison considering one was a public servant who took an oath to serve the public and that was denying a constitutional right; meanwhile, the other was a private citizen playing a private game who still performed his job duties...

Well, she protested by refusing to do her job and the football players DID their job, they played football.
Technically, the the players are not required to be on the field based on NFL rules.
