Fun fact, the fax machine was invented in the era of the telegraph, 11 years before the invention of the telephone. In fact, although the idea of the telegraph has been around since ancient times, commercially available electric telegrams precede the fax machine by only about 6 - 7 years. That's a relatively small time window for your ass pics.
Though really, I'm not clear on how they're going to transmit ass pics over telegraph without some version of a fax machine at work. It might be worth clarifying that. Perhaps they mean to transmit naughty morse code? .- ... ...
