These are Red Eyed Crocodile Skinks from New Guinea, Indonesia, and can now be found in small populations in Austrailia. Before everyone goes out and purchases one from an expo or online just be aware that most of these guys are imported/field collected and die from stress in captivity fairly quickly. There jave been many instances of successful captive breeding of which you can purchase from a reputable breeder, you just have to do your research and not buy on impulse. Although because of the importation of these animals there has been recorded populations in Australia in the past several years.
