Funny how they complain so much about "safe spaces", but then crumble without the support of one

Or how they complain about Islam being an oppressive culture that has no place in the west, while literally supporting Nazis.

Nothing about the alt-right makes any sense at all.

Okay, reading through the comments, there are a number of people saying either that they've never seen people being offended by this, or that, if they are offended, it doesn't matter, because the point is the government is not interfering, and the Bill of Rights is specific to the relationship between the government and the people.

First - evidence of each scenario above, after a first pass youtube search.

President Trump, yesterday, on Colin Kaepernick: "When somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son-of-a-bitch off the field, RIGHT NOW. He's FIRED."

Willie Robertson, of Duck Dynasty (and staunch Trump supporter), speaking on Fox News about the Women's March: "I was blown away by the language and vulgarity, and all the signs with this filth on there."

Fox and Friends, on the Starbucks cups not having the "look of Christmas," including Donald Trump asking for a boycott: "Did you read about Starbucks? No more Merry Christmas on Starbucks...maybe we should boycott. ... If I become President we're all going to be saying Merry Christmas again."

Tucker Carlson, arguing that the Charlottesville Nazi rallies were not hate speech because offensiveness is subjective, and we, (collectively, the right or left) should not prevent anyone from speaking.

Second - if you'll notice, two of the above are from Trump. One, while he was campaigning, one, as President, literally yesterday.

The President, while he may not be acting on his words, is definitely a representative of the government and so his words (calling for a person to be fired, calling for a boycott of a company) certainly seem to be toeing the line of 1st Amendment Right violation.
