The best part is that the mattress is situated below a retractable glass skylight.

Very cool! But a weird scenario - Needing a bigger apartment but having a retractable glass access to the roof!

My biggest question is how much force can u put on the bed

Does the retractable skylight also offer blinds? As a late sleeper and occasional hangover-haver, the beauty of the apartment will be lost on me the moment the sun rises and I don't want to get up.
