Actually one of my friends emigrated to America as a child from Russia, and she always tells me that they would joke about how Americans even have a hole in the wall for their clothes to go inside of, not just dressers. She didn't understand this joke until she came to America and her room had a closet, she literally thought Americans were so backwards that they had a small hole in their wall that they stuffed clothing into. This is just one example but Russians tend to joke about Americans and how different we are a lot, mostly with the punchline being that we're spoiled or too fancy.

In capitalist America, TV watches you.

In capitalist America, politicians pick you.
