Alright fine, no more playing around. Here is the Pixel 2 XL (official name) in two colorways. We also have pricing that you’ll need to brace yourself for.

The LG-made Pixel 2 XL will come in a “Black & White” colorway (pictured above) that might be the hottest panda colorway we’ve ever seen. The phone will also arrive in “Just Black,” and be available with 64GB or 128GB storage. The 64GB model will cost $849, while the 128GB model will jump to $949.

Google will offer financing as well. The 64GB Pixel 2 XL will cost $35.38/mo over 24 months and the 128GB version will jump to $39.54/mo.

While details on this are even more scarce than the Google Home Mini and new Daydream View we just showed you, this should make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that this is about to be unveiled on October 4.

Once available, you should be able to buy the Pixel 2 at the Google Store right here.

Wish Google would have kept the Nexus line up next to the pixels. If they offered another cheaper phone ($400-500) they could make some real noise. Sigh. Just want my Nexus 5 with upgraded camera and battery

Oneplus must be so excited that they didn't have to do anything for their phone price to look "midrange" again.

Phone prices just keep on going up at the top end and I'm not sure how. I know in the US people are used to financing but I'm now seeing phones hit the $40 a month point. I guess as long as people buy them they will keep pushing the bill.
