Yeah, it's why I never understand all those 'just fly' comments. Nothing beats a train trip from Italy to Germany, bring a bottle of wine, a good book, smokes and enjoy the views. Rail travel in europe is the ultimate landscape cruise.

The only thing better than that is walking through the valley itself. The locals are awesome and the hiking trails even more so.
