In my line of work, we use these all the time. Mostly for items like flat screen tvs but also other items. If I ever see one of these tipped, I have to immediately notify the owner of the item so they can get it properly taken care of. It's usually the movers who are at fault so they try to rip them off.

At my old job, the shipping people used to put these on the outside of the crates but apparently someone along the way caused a tip and just ripped the thing off and put a fresh one on in its place.

That's when a new policy was instituted to put them on the inside of the crates too.
