Wtf. And the instagram person's comment implies they're actually being displayed in a gallery in NYC. Like okay, trace or copy a reference to learn, but don't pass it off as your own damned work. Let alone in a way that gives you credit and fame for it.

You can see here why tracing is a bad method of learning to draw anyway. Compare the two pics and the fake one on the right has a clear lack of knowledge of fundamentals. Whack shading, whack perspective, and whack proportions. It's just mimicking without actually knowing how and why the drawing was done the way it was.
