If you're in the U.S., that's a 500k surgery. My daughter had it done 2 years ago for scoliosis, but the end result is the same: she came out of surgery 2.5 inches taller, and no more back, leg, or rib pain, no more numb hands or feet, and she can breathe again.
She had a double major with the good curve over 60°.
