I live out west in Washington state. My city, Yakima, just spent over a week in smoke so thick we could not see the sun. I cannot express how grateful I am to these men for the work they do. Keep it up, guys.
So I hope people see this but one of my roommates is a hotshot. He is stationed out of Mendocino County in CA. He has been all over the west coast this season. Some of the photos and videos he posts and shares are so surreal. Casual chainsawing while the forest burns around them or hiking up crazy hills with shit ton of gear. My bud is probably the most up beat guy and always laughing having a good time. Miss you dude, Crew House is waiting for your return!
