Not every white person descended from the people on the Mayflower. I can't tell you how many times someone has said this to me (actually I can. It's like 2 or 3), but when I say that my ancestors legally immigrated here through Ellis Island in the 30s-40s, it's always "no, I mean the first people to land in America." Oh, you mean NOT my ancestors, then?
Why don't these people get it. You don't get free stuff as an immigrant. Like to get the visas you have to show that you will not be a burden. These people think you get food stamps and a Medicaid card at airport or something.
