Many north Texas shelters are in need of gently used towels and blankets as well as pet food donations. Of course, cash donations are always great as well. If you live in the area, contact your local shelter to see what they need.
Some areas took what animals they could from shelters down south before the flooding. The shelter I volunteer at took some extra animals from down south, many shelters outside of the flood area are now at maximum capacity due to the relocation efforts.

Some of the shelters have Amazon Wish lists where you can purchase things and have them shipped to various shelters.
