Maybe it's an unpopular opinion, but, it would be great to get all new things that don't rely on calling back to something from the other films. Force Awakens was so packed with callbacks, tributes, and fan service...I think they'll need to go all out and do something original to support the potential for the future of this franchise instead of constantly rehashing elements from the rest of the movies. Don't get me wrong, I love fan service and nostalgia as much as anyone, but after you've been watching these movies for 35 years now, you sort of get the need to see something original. That's the excitement about the upcoming films for me, the prospect of something new that doesn't rely on shots like the one above which was a product of the lazy film-making of George Lucas.
