Reminds me of a physics class I took once. The prof loved her work so much that she would giggle during lectures. I didn't understand a lot of what she said, but I sure had fun watching her lecture.

This kind of professor is a rarity.

I think that all teachers love what they do to a certain extent, but it takes a special kind of person to project that passion over the long-term to their students.

Big thanks to all teachers who fit this description. You are awesome.

I had a college biology teacher who absolutely loved his job. He went on for a week before finals about Louie Pasteur. He taught us about his entire life and everything he did and "the millions of lives he saved" and about how most of our final was going to be about Pastuer. Final came and went not a single Fn question about Pasteur but I'll be damned I still remember almost 2 decades later everything about Louie Pasteurs life.
