God this brings back memories. The hours of gameplay. The months of painstaking progress. Grinding to unlock both gardens and evolve my prized hero and dark chaos as far as they could go. All the races they worked so hard to win.
Then the one day I show them off to my neighbor, we later need to free up space on my memory card for another game and he 'accidentally' deletes my chao data. I KNOW that mother fucker heard my screams of protest as he landed on that save file, but he deleted it anyway. "Oops, I thought that was Pikmin," was all I got in response.
8 year old me didn't know it at the time, but a piece of me died that day. I'm pretty sure this is how super villains are born.

-Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is available on Steam
-there is a Chao Editor hack (great in case you don't know what you're doing, like me, and want to test things before using them on your actual chaos)
-lastly, the entire Sonic Adventure 2 Battle soundtrack and more Sonic music is all available on Spotify!
Edit: Sad fact
-You can't do the cool fly out of the Chao Garden glitch (at least I haven't been able to the times I tried) :,(
