This was a joke that is implied to be from the point of view of the anti vaxer.
Many people who are against vaccinations (not necessarily this person) believe they cause autism and would rather risk their child getting horrible, life threatening illnesses than have to deal with an autistic child. That's the joke.
I myself do not believe that vaccines cause autism because I'm not batshit insane.
If I had a child, then I wouldn't want hypothetical child to be dead if they were autistic because I'm not a monster.
