Before it was Lakewood Church it was the Compaq Center. Before it was the Compaq Center it was The Summit, former home of the Houston Rockets. In the NBA offseason it doubled as a concert venue. I saw Black Crowes "High as the Moon" tour there in the early 1990s. That show was one of the first times I smoked pot. So in a way I got high in Lakewood Church.
