Can anyone else just admit it?!?!?! Well, yeah, there's an entire subreddit dedicated to that.

So I shit you not, when there were pictures of Trump looking at the sun without eye protection, there were literally Facebook comments on the articles saying things like "Well looking at the sun for a little bit isn't that bad" or "Look at the media, just turning something innocent Trump did into a scandal." There is a group of Trump supporters who can't admit that looking at the sun without protection is bad because their cult leader did it. I know that isn't a majority, but it was baffling. Should have taken screenshots.

EDIT: words

His supporters don't want to publicly admit that they were wrong, but there is no way this is the POTUS they wanted and they know this is all bullshit. He embarrasses America every day. Look at the shrinking crowds at rallies. Heck, I hate the guy but I still thought he'd be more effective at least passing major legislation, even if it was evil, like the wall, replace Obamacare. I thought he would respect this office too. I thought that at least because of his own narcissism that he would try to look good because he loves praise and to be admired. He lives for it. But he embarrasses this office every day.

Little story here. I met Trump 9 years ago at Trump tower in NYC. Total fluke. I was touristing NYC. We went into Trump Tower on 5th ave because there's a Starbucks there and it was getting dark and cold. Lo and behold he's waiting for his elevator at the lobby with his staff. Laughing, smiling. I turn around and look and without thinking I was like OMG IT'S DONALD TRUMP! All tourists were like OMGGGG!!! He laughed. He came over to us and talked to us tourists for like 15 mins. He took pics with everyone. He said "what a fancy group of tourists, all dressed up for Trump Tower, good job" innocent me said "I like it here, I like this place!" (And I did🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️) He asked us about Broadway, what shows we've seen and what stuff we had been doing. We told him about our plans as if he cared. He said "Don't forget to eat at the restaurant!" We were like OKK :D and said goodbye.

Affer that I was like "man, this guys is COOL maybe on TV he's an asshole just for ratings because who spends 15 mins with randoms talking about NY." But he liked thinking he has fans. He becomes a different person. He basks in attention. He needs validation.

Never in a million years did I see this hateful campaign and presidency coming. I admit I had no idea about his past. All I knew was the hotels and The Apprentice. Then became the birtherism, his hateful campaign. His incompetence and madness are astounding to me. His evilness, his heartlessness. And maybe he has split personalities because all I see is evil now and he was normal to us. Like, funny, cool and just loving the attention.

That's great and all, but seriously, it's not like he was a smart, rational public figure for the past 40 years and suddenly lost his mind in office. I'm kinda amazed any of his fans are abandoning him. Why would they? He hasn't changed a single bit. What turns them off today that turned them on a year ago? Nothing has changed about him!
