The Vanzolini's bald-faced saki is a monkey from Brazil. The species had not been seen alive for over 80 years, but after a four-month expedition into little explored parts of the Amazon it has been successfully found and photographed. Welcome back Saki! 🔥

That's pretty much what I'd expect a super rare monkey to look like. Sort of like a jungle wizard.

Interesting piece of trivia - species that were thought to be extinct but later found alive are called Lazarus species.
