I named my dog Bow after this river. We drove past it to pick him up and couldn't decide on a name. Seemed as good as anything :)

This is a very important river in Canada. It provides water for millions. It originates at a glacier in Banff National Park. It then goes through the big city of Calgary. The river is dammed multiple times throughout its journey. When it joins the Oldman River, it becomes the South Saskatchewan River. After the Red Deer River joins it, it is again dammed and forks, with one fork becoming the Qu Appelle river. The SSR then goes through the city of Saskatoon, before joIning with the North Saskatchewan River to become the mighty Saskatchewan River. After it flows into Manitoba Lakes, it becomes the Nelson River, which flows into Hudson Bay. It's a habitat for many fish such as the Lake Sturgeon. The river is also known for its rapid flooding.

I know a lot about this river and can answer any questions if anyone has any.
