Seems like it would work well in cities - but probably not for highway policing. I notice that this bike doesn't have either lights or a beefy radio system like the CHP bikes tend to have.
A friend has one of these and it's seriously the quickest vehicle I've ever driven. It's ridiculously fast. And dead quiet. It's like a ninja motorcycle.
Where I'm moving, I'll have like a 5-minute commute, so an electric bike just kind of makes sense, especially since they have actual winter out there and it'll be stored 4-5 months per year. I imagine winter storage on one of these is a piece of cake.
I'm selling the Connie and ninja before I go, so they might end up funding one of these on the other end.
