OP, take it from a guy who has been with the same girl for over 25 years. The most important thing to remember is that you both change slowly over time and if you don't purposefully continue to ask her questions and learn about her you'll realize that you hardly know her at all any more some time soon. It happens over and over again.
Don't let it get you down. Just vow to learn who this new person is and fall deeper in love with them than you ever were in love with the old person 7 years ago. Keep making that effort and don't let it upset you when it happens.

"No shit, I'm 7 years older. Do you want to get to know me?"
