The house my sister is looking at buying has a picture I painted when I was in high school for a history project on their wall.

Reposting this because my original included a screenshot. Picture on the left was found on realtor.com today, and the picture on the right is a picture I took on June 3, 2015 for a post on instagram that I captioned "giant apush project".

So my sister, her husband, and my mom go to tour a house my sister is considering to buy. My mom calls me saying "you'll never guess what is on their wall". It's the picture I painted for my American History class I took my junior year of high school over two years ago. It's a ceiling tile, and my teacher placed them all on the ceiling of her classroom. My guess is that she replaces them every few years and lets students take the ones being replaced. Here is the picture my mom took while there. It's somehow gotten broken over the past couple years.

edit: Here is a little gif of me making the tile that I never thought would actually come in handy.

In my world of superstition, if I was your sister, i would buy this house thinking that was an omen for me saying it was the right one.

I'm a fan of how goofy and lighthearted that painting is considering the subject matter haha
